Five days of absolute fun in a safe, wholesome and supportive environment where campers experience adventure and inspiration while building new skills and friendships.   As camp activities require energy that comes from proper nourishment and rest, mealtimes and bedtimes are important aspects of our program.  At Reedan Ranch meals are home cooked and served home-style at 8:00, 12:00 and 5:30.  Snacks and refreshments are included.  Bedtime is 10:00 PM because we start at 7:00 AM.

Horsemanship skills are not a requirement as long as you want to learn.  All of our horses are very well mannered and for all skill levels.  All lessons are being taught by a certified level one western coach.

There are plenty of other activities scheduled into every day which include games, exercise, and crafts.  We finish each day with a roaring campfire.

Little Wrangler Camp / Basic Camp / Level 1

August 23 through to August 27, 2010

A basic horse camp in which kids will learn how to be safe around horses and learn good horsemanship skills.  We will learn about grooming, saddling, proper riding positions and proper horse care. Fully supervised, individual attention and foremost of all, safety is foundation to our riding program, where our goal is to produce competent riders who appreciate and practice with intelligence and competence. It is a great camp for beginners, those who want to start their riding career, or those who want to learn a bit more.  To finish this week's camp, the campers will put on a mini horse show to showcase their skills.  All parents welcome to watch and lunch to follow.  275.00 + GST for Basic, and $300.00 + GST for Level One Max: 8 campers.

Reedan Ranch Riders / Level 2

August 14 through to August 22, 2010 

This is our advanced camp.  There will be a lot of riding, learning and work (don't forget FUN).  Riders will learn how to be a good horseman from nose to tail.  We will spend a lot of time around and on our horses.  A new option offered is a Level One in western riding; it is certified through Equine Canada.  This is not mandatory, however, if you choose this option, it requires a Saskatchewan  Horse Federation membership. The instruction and activities at the Reedan Ranch Riders Camp will challenge and improve each young riders riding skills.   At the end of this camp, riders have the option of putting on a skills test.  All parents are invited to come and enjoy the show, lunch to follow.  $400.00 + GST  Max: 8 riders
